The class meets Tuesdays and Fridays form 9:50 to 11:10 a.m. in Van Dyke 211, on the College Avenue Campus. My office hours are 3:30-4:30 Thursday. My office is 632 Hill Center. My email is carlen at math dot rutgers dot edu.

The grader for the course is Brielle Fanning, blf53 at scarletmail dot rutgers dot edu, who will grade the homework. I will grade the trsts and final exam.
There will be two in-class hour exams, worth 100 points each. There will be a final exam worth 200 points. There will be various homework assignments and these will count for an additional 100 points. The final grades will be assigned on the basis of the fraction of the possible 500 points that are earned.
The text for the course is “A first course in Probability, Ninth Editions”. by Sheldon Ross. In addition, various Supplemental Notes will be provided throughout the semester.
